Some of my favorite things this month...
1. Norte Cafe
www.nortecafe.shop
Why I love Norté Cafe...
Small biz alert!
You all know I care about coffee.
I was so pleased to receive some Norté Cafe goods for the holidays this year
(how cute is that mask?).
It’s a great small business founded recently by a man that grew up in Columbia and wants to share Colombian coffee and goodness with those around the United States.
A bit more about Norté Cafe...
"My name is Yair “Leo” Carvajalino. I grew up on a coffee farm in Colombia. My parents and grandparents were also coffee farmers, so it runs in the family. Growing coffee is a business that requires dedication, diligence and passion. Generation by generation, these values continue to flourish in the region where I grew up since coffee production is one of the main economic activities there.
Norte Café is a dream come true. I always wanted to be able to create value for the society. And what better way than by creating a brand that offers the best coffee in the world! Norte Café is a source of coffee information, so you know what you are drinking, where it comes from, and the faces behind the production."

2. Lightroom Presets by "Find Us Lost"
Why I suggest @finduslostpresets...
Not an experienced photo editor? No problem, there is a learning curve.
And what better way to learn but through example and presets?
That is why I often suggest purchasing editing presets to friends that are intimidated by editing tools, or want to create more eye catching photos with ease.
Find Us Lost is one of my favorite travel pages, and one of my favorite preset creators. The Lightroom App is completely free for your phone, and you can check out her different packages to select one compatible for your app. She sends along a super easy step-by-step guide on how to upload them all to your phone to easily apply them to all of your personal photos.

4. Take a Day Trip to Leesburg, Virginia
What we did on our day trip to Leesburg...
First, hiking to Raven Rocks, a moderately easy 2-3 hr hike with a gorgeous view at the top (trail info linked here).
Then, we headed into town for brews & lunch at Black Walnut Brewery @blackwalnutbrewery (Fire Works Pizza is also a great option for pizza)
Next, we explored the downtown area, visiting gorgeous antique shops, and wonderful new shops like Brick & Mortar Mercantile @justbrickandmortar
Followed by coffee at the gorgeous Side Bar @sidebarcoffeelbg
Finally, we finished the day at Black Hoof Brewing Company @blackhoofbeer
It’s an adorable part of Virginia, and a great day trip from DC!
We fully plan to go back and visit some more spots around the area.
Definitely put it on your list if you’re looking for a place to explore the outdoors (hiking and biking) and then enjoy some good drinks afterwards!
Check out my reel about it here: "The Perfect Day Trip to Leesburg, Virginia"
